- Full-time enrollment in a four-year college or university
- GPA of 2.8 or higher
- Completion of first semester
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Summer student employment
Opportunities — vary across business units and can occur in corporate or district offices, power plants, service centers, warehouses or field locations.
General responsibilities (may vary by assignment/location)
- Meter maintenance (e.g., painting, cleaning)
- Surveying — property/land or customer satisfaction
- Facility maintenance and tasks (e.g., lawn cutting, minor repairs, housekeeping duties, packaging materials, loading/unloading vehicles)
- Clerical activities as assigned (e.g., data entry, computer operations)
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED or HSED
- Part-time or full-time enrollment in post-secondary education (e.g., technical, associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- Valid driver’s license for positions requiring use of company or personal vehicle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
